Seems they don't want to play well together. Any one having issues with anything else? I've been holding off on updating my OD sub to see how things would work with this anniversary update.

I downloaded the latest Game Ready Driver yesterday from NVIDIA when the Game Ready App alerted me it was available and fell victim to the BSOD as did thousands of others. It took me a bit to even discover I was not alone and it was actually not my fault for a change. I did manage to boot into repair mode and I did a system restore. A lot of people were not even able to do that. I can attest to the fact that constant rebooting only got me the BSOD over and over. There were several fixes...

So I have been subscribing to ODN on a monthly basis, even though it costs more in the long run, it's what I could afford or I should say 'how' I could afford it. I have received the emails saying that the monthly sub will be discontinued as of April 2016. My question is this : Come April, will programs that have NOT been compatible with Windows 10 be updated or not? I am referring to  SoundPackager (which I miss dearly)IconPackager (Another I miss dearly especially now...

Just caught this   via MajorGeeks   "Mozilla announced on Wednesday that it will dump Google in favor of Yahoo as its default browser.  The deal is for five years, but the financial data was not released. Google had been the default browser for Firefox for a decade. But Firefox is now opting for a "a more local and flexible approach to increase choice and innovation on the Web, with new and expanded search partnerships by country," according to the company. ...

I have seen this posted on Facebook and am unfamiliar with it. Since I don't have ODN right now I was curious.  Is it a desktop customization suite?

I'm not sure what i did but for some reason Object Desktop Manager has decided that I don't have any Stardock software on my computer. My subscription is expired and I'm concerned because I may need to re-install Windows on my laptop and I don't know how it will effect trying to reinstall my Stardock stuff. I was actually wanting to do some skinning and make sure my stuff was as up to date and backed up before I started messing with Windows and I don't think I even have the S...

I looked around and couldn't find any other posts on this. I can't figure out why my Fences are showing the tops of icons under the first row. No matter how I resize the icons, fonts, etc., I can't hide the icons on the bottom. This started with the Fences 2.01 update.

About six years ago, Phoenixheart started a thread titled 'Rare Icon Request' which got 1907 hits in four years. I cut my teeth on Photoshop doing requests in that thread as did a few other skinners. I lost count of the icons I did. I also lost count of the Iconpackages I started or OD packs I started because of ideas I got from that thread. Anyway.....there are a lot of great artists out here making icons for all kinds of things. So, what have you got going on with icons? Dazzle us. ...

You have your choice of one of these 5 programs (I went with Burning Studio) . The code is already entered for you on the page. You'll have to register and confirm to get the activation number once you have installed the software. I'm not sure, but it may be possible to download and install them all. With a lot of folks here already having PSPS or some graphic program, these might be something to install on your kids PC or family, etc. Just thought I would put it out ther...

I'm having issues with Thunderbird in WIndows 7. I'm not sure if it's Windowblinds or Windows, but it just doesn't want to skin right. Different areas flash or highlight poorly and the whole thing seems buggy. Updated to latest version and still bad. I have it running on Vista and it's stable. Anyone else running into this?

I think we're all basically adults here, right? But just in case, let me start by saying that this thread is NOT about slamming anyone. It's just some advice...from the heart...for anyone...and someone. I believe that when folks post in the forums, whether noobs or veterans, the majority of the community responds in a positive manner. Yeah, we have a terrible habit of going off topic. Hard not to with so many overactive, overly creative, and talented folks around, However, in general,...

A 'friend' read this and thought, 'I'm not alone'. It changed quickly to 'I wasn't alone' and then back to 'I am alone...even more so.' And he returned to the hole/circle he lives in and vowed again to keep his mouth shut and put his happy face back on. Sometimes, you choose to live with and in the 'darkness' because it's all you know...it's comfortable, familiar, and 'it' knows you so well. The Agonizing Last Words of Programmer Bill ZellerBill Zeller was a talented programmer whose wor...
